Owners of Haval Jolion crossovers are facing a massive problem

Owners of Haval Jolion crossovers have started contacting dealers en masse because the Check Engine indicator has been triggered.

As one of the motorists said, when he encountered this problem and went to a car service, he was the twentieth, and when he got to the mechanic, the number of calls exceeded forty. By the time diagnostics began, the dealer had already received more than 60 signals with similar complaints.

It is assumed that the cause of the breakdown was abnormally high atmospheric pressure: on the day of the call, it exceeded 790 millimeters of mercury, and then reached 791.3 millimeters.

Commenting on this situation, Vitaly Bondar, Development Director of Provolta & Team Service, said that Chinese-made cars do not undergo testing in extreme conditions. As a result, the operating pressure ranges and sensors installed on them are not ready for harsh conditions. Therefore, due to a pressure sensor error, the turbines stop working at full capacity, which can lead to slow acceleration. Moreover, the electronic engine control unit can switch it to emergency mode, limiting the power.
