How to prevent a flood in the apartment

Sometimes such questions appear even among those who have never experienced a flood. After all, such events are extremely strongly undermining the financial condition of the owners of the apartment. Moreover, in addition to damage to their own property, a similar one occurs with the neighbors from below.

If there is a breakthrough in the heating system, then hot water can even harm the health of the owners of the apartment, as well as their pets.

More often, all such incidents occur due to violations during the repair, which I will talk about in this article.

1. In no case do not carry out independent repair of risers with hot and cold water, and even more so heating. If an accident occurs, then the utilities will pay for everything, but if they find that you made repairs, all the arrows will transfer to you.

2. You can carry out pipelines and put plumbing only in the appropriate places of the apartment specified in the BTI. That is, in “wet” premises, and not “residential”.

3. From the risers of the CVS and the DIS, the apartment should be in the apartment, since the faucets and other plumbing devices are not designed for a high pressure of water.

4. In addition to a common crane, cutting off all consumers of water, it is worth having additional cranes to turn off the washing machine and other rarely used consumers. Well, if you leave the apartment for a long time, always closed common cranes to exclude the likelihood of leaks.

5. Use only special water pipes, beware of unknown manufacturers. Minimize the number of connections – it is better to make them inexpressible.

6. The threads of the pipes in no case do not mow it into the walls.

7. Try not to use hoses to supply water – or replace them every 3 years.

8. Call specialists who have a license to install and replace heating devices.

9. Heating equipment should be certified in Russia.

10. After the installation of the system is completed, be sure to carry out the system check under the pressure within 2 days.

It is very convenient to use sensors, when you get water to which you will hear a signal. The main thing is to arrange the sensors so that there are no “blind zones” and “false works” when spraying.
