Torch infection and pregnancy.

As a rule, the TORCH complex includes diseases that affect a person during its greatest sexual activity. They often lead to such complications as female infertility, inexcompanying pregnancy, intrauterine infection of the fetus. To designate the pathogens of this infection, the Torch abbreviation was proposed:

T-Toxoplasmosis;

O-different infections (syphilis, chlamydia);

R-red;

C-cytomegalovirus infection;

H-Herpes;

All these diseases are united by the fact that it affects primarily the nervous system, eyes, endothelium. Therefore, the Torch-infection test is an important component of diagnosis in the early stages of pregnancy. For this purpose, immunosorbent methods of research are used. In a child with suspected congenital infection, it is necessary to simultaneously detect antibodies to cytomegalovirus, toxoplasmosis, herpes and hepatitis.

In order to give birth to a healthy child, it is necessary to take care of your health even before pregnancy and carry out the prevention of torch-pares:

1.-avoid contacts with patients.

2.-Protected sexual intercourse.

3.-Pass food for sufficient heat treatment.

4.-Examine pets.
