The main varieties of the profile pipe
Profile pipes are used in the construction of a variety of sports and industrial facilities – stadiums, hangars, finished products, etc. D. However, for each specific element of the structure, it is necessary to use pipes with a certain section.
Square profile – for arranging foundations
Pipe rental with a square profile is considered the most durable and resistant to deformation. It is made of various brands of instrumental and alloy steel, followed by galvanizing. This type of product is used to give increased rigidity and stability:
foundations of any type, including pile;
carrying ceilings;
Inter -story spans.

Rectangular products – to create supports and cable boxes
Profile pipes with a rectangular cross section are also very hard and shockproof. However, they are more often used as vertical supports for supporting structures of buildings.
They are also often used when laying cables and perform the function of protective boxes. In particular, rectangular products are indispensable when laying telephone lines, computer networks for industrial enterprises.
Round rental – for pipelines
In the assortment of metalworking plants, a specialized type with a round cross section is also presented. Their main purpose is the construction of pipelines for pumping both liquid and gaseous media. In particular, they are welded from them:
household water supply;
transportation systems for technical oils;
Small diameter gas pipelines (up to 300 mm).
Round rental is almost always galvanized. It fits the advantage in the soil in a trench method, therefore it is subjected to intensive oxidation. And it, in turn, leads to corrosion, from which it protects zinc spraying.
If we talk about the cost, then the most affordable in price are square, and the most expensive ones are round. This is due to the cost of the production of different types of rental.
To get a high -quality round profile, sheet blanks must be bend on special machines, and then connect with each other using electric welding. Welded seam is additionally required to protect against corrosion, which also affects the cost of metal rolling.
