Polymer “stucco” in the interior

Some time ago, only skillful masters could make and decorate the walls with gypsum stucco molding. Some time has passed, and today, the stucco molding of gypsum began to be replaced with lighter material, both in the formation and in its installation. And most importantly, this “substitute” can mount every home master. This “substitute” is a decorative profile, resembling outwardly simple relief elements of wall jewelry made of gypsum. But in fact, this prototype of the classic stucco molded made of polystyrene foam or polyurethane foam. They do not differ in their appearance from gypsum stucco molding, but if you look closely, then the differences can still be found. Decorative profiles are made with different widths in various styles and decors, they have a smooth surface. Installation of such profiles should be carried out directly to the wall before gluing with wallpaper. Working with this profile is not complicated. The ease and quality of installation depends on the accuracy of measurements of position on the wall. The mounting lines should be marked, through the cord, with a wiped chalk, which, when pressed to the surface of the wall, will leave a clear imprint. With the help of small -toothed saws and cushed, the profile is cut. To give color to the profile, dispersion paint is used, which is used to paint the walls. You can also use acrylic varnishes soluble in water with preliminary primer. To achieve complete harmony with the interior, you can give the profile a certain style, for example, the effect of a natural patina. Using this element, you can divide the walls into zones of various colors, emphasize the elegant transitions between the ceiling and walls, beautifully emphasize the surface finish.
