Living around Austin and growing up attending the ACL Festival every year made this print an honor to create

I thought if I could make a literal monolith out of stereo equipment and dot the top of the structure with the glowing eye (HAL 9000) from the film

There are a couple of elements I added to this that aren't in the Jack White print

The birds that flank the creature left and right are meant to abstractly represent the idea of duality that exists between Gene and Dean's personas

The image itself relates to the act of courtship
