Fire Bird Earring Balance and the essence of allWhile I was born and raised in the tropical beaches of Recife, Brazil, I have spent most of my life now living in the Arizona desert, in the ancestral land of the Akimel O'Oodham. This is the land where I raised my children, grew as an artist, and have worked as a community organizer and activist. This design is an homage to this city's namesake the Phoenix. The orange and red hues reflect the Fire Bird's fierceness and brilliance, and reminds us that
