Its made from mostly Chardonnay with a touch of Pinot Gris (about 80 20) grown on the exposed Parapli and Tavaszifld vineyards in Kthely, where loam and loess soils with bits of limestone give the wine a bright, clear character. The hand picked grapes ferment spontaneously in clay amphorae and large used Hungarian barrels, with several weeks of skin contact
